All our designs start in the real world. We gather information from sailing and skiing communities and we develop our products in close cooperation with the professionals that use the garments on a daily basis. In our product development we apply a so called blank canvas approach. This means that for each design we go back to the core purpose of the product and to the requirements we learn from the communities. One good example of information from the sailing community was that the freedom of movement for sailing wear in general was terrible. When designing the new Ocean Wear collection, the freedom of movement was one of the key requirements.
